Short film ideas We have created a mind map to be able to plan out our ideas for our short film around the theme of domestic violence. We plotted a range of different ideas and questions which could provoke different emotions and ideas that we could convey within the making of our film. 

Planning film timeline  Here me and Georgia sat down and created a timeline of events that we imagined to happen in our short film before we wrote our script in order for us to map out how things would unfold in our film. This was also a method that helped us brainstorm different ideas for our film and helped us plan out a chronological sequence. 

Short film name ideas Here is where me and my teammate Georgia toyed with different ideas for names for our short film. We created a mind map and created a range of different names which we considered appropriate for the theme of our film. In the end we chose the name AFTERTASTE because we had the tagline "A sweet offer never comes without a bitter aftertaste" which we though is an appropriate sentence which intrigues the audience into watching the final product.

The decision to have this font in black was also important because it is a colour that stands out against most backgrounds which is important since we would have to use this typography on many different media platforms. We also chose the colour black because its a colour that connotes power which is shown through the main protagonist Blake, and the way in which he has a dominating power over his girlfriend Amber. ...

Character profiles AFTERTASTE Character Profiles BLAKE General Information: Name: Blake Played by: Victor Mubiru Age: 22 Sex: Male Nationality: British Costume: Wears a lot of casual clothes and baggy items that hang around his frame. He is commonly wearing plain tee-shirts and jeans or just a comfortable tracksuit usually bright colours. Personality: Very short tempered, has a loving side but isn’t seen as much as the aggressive side. Role in the film: Blake is the alpha male in the film and is very dominating over characters. Relationship with other characters: Within the film, Blake doesn’t get on with Maddie and tries with Amber his girlfriend but his anger gets in the way of a healthy relationship. Script - DRAFT 2 This is the second draft of our script for our short film, AFTERTASTE. After receiving various feedback and constructive criticism with some corrections; we came up with a new idea for the film, while still including similar scenes.
