Here is some examples of fonts and different typography that I experimented with in order to find the final product that we would eventually use as the typography for our final production of AFTERTASTE.

Final font:  AFTERTASTE

We decided to use the last typography of Letter Gothic Std because it is a solid font that allows the word to be seen very clearly. The decision to have this font in black was also important because it is a colour that stands out against most backgrounds which is important since we would have to use this typography on many different media platforms. We also chose the colour black because its a colour that connotes power which is shown through the main protagonist Blake, and the way in which he has a dominating power over his girlfriend Amber. Similarly the colour black can also denote strength which is shown through the emotions and actions of the other main protagonist Amber. Additionally, since we have to use this font on different media platforms, it was important that we found a font which was accessible on a wide range of microsoft products so that we could use different softwares to create different promotions.

Synopsis Title: Aftertaste Tagline: A sweet offer never comes without a bitter aftertaste Target audience: The target audience of our film will be 15-23 year old, students /working class people of both sexes. This is because domestic abuse is topical issue in that age range and society. We also feel that this issue is more prominent in those early stages of adult life, because young couples are still naive to the world, and would expect someone that “loves” them not to do that. Classification: Reasons for classification: The film will be classified as a 15 because the BBFC classification states that violence may be strong but no severe injuries may be shown; can include strong threats and language and also strong/ dangerous behaviour may be shown full so the audience can’t copy; it’s kept discrete. Question 3 What did you learn from your audience feedback? Audience response  is a type of interaction associated with the use of  audience response  systems, to create interactivity between a presenter and it's  audience . Having and creating audience feedback is a very important within the production of the short film that we created as it is a way in which we can receive the opinions and preferences from the people that the film is specifically aimed at.
