Film poster- DRAFT 1
This is the first poster that I created for the release of our short film. I followed a similar structure to conventional film posters including: the film title being at the top and bold on the page, the tagline of the film being showcased, the main actors names being clear on the page as well as an image incorporating the actors so people can see who plays the characters. I firstly cropped two different images of the two main characters played by Yasmeen and Victor and merged them together; this is because in the film there is two contrasting sides of the story. I then added an  painted effect onto the image which makes the poster look almost animated. This effect can connote the way in which Amber (the female on the left hand side) is being controlled like a character in a game and Blake (the male on the right side) is painted as a certain image to the audience at first before his past is released into the plot of the film. The name of the film is both in capital letters and in a red font. The colour red connotes danger which is a theme that is conveyed in out short film but it can also connote the love that the couple have for each other in a twisted way.

Synopsis Title: Aftertaste Tagline: A sweet offer never comes without a bitter aftertaste Target audience: The target audience of our film will be 15-23 year old, students /working class people of both sexes. This is because domestic abuse is topical issue in that age range and society. We also feel that this issue is more prominent in those early stages of adult life, because young couples are still naive to the world, and would expect someone that “loves” them not to do that. Classification: Reasons for classification: The film will be classified as a 15 because the BBFC classification states that violence may be strong but no severe injuries may be shown; can include strong threats and language and also strong/ dangerous behaviour may be shown full so the audience can’t copy; it’s kept discrete. Question 3 What did you learn from your audience feedback? Audience response  is a type of interaction associated with the use of  audience response  systems, to create interactivity between a presenter and it's  audience . Having and creating audience feedback is a very important within the production of the short film that we created as it is a way in which we can receive the opinions and preferences from the people that the film is specifically aimed at. My group found that it was necessary to have this type of feedback collated throughout the process of creating the film because we wanted to make the production and distribution stages as successful as possible for the end product and taking on board constructive criticism is very important because we wanted to edit the film and different products to please the target audience.  There are many ways that can be used in order to collate this sort of data from an...
